In most cases, to apply for a work permit, you must pay a fee. Once it is done, you submit your application. Most work permits in Sweden cost around SEK 2,000 or about $200. Aside from this initial cost, there are no additional fee you pay that is related to the application process. Once the application has been paid and submitted, the rest of the process is free.
