Welcome to our special report of the month! 

In our previous article, we talked about the way to apply for enrollment in a Spanish university. Today, Spain is one of the pioneers in graduate and postgraduate studies, which includes 78 universities, including 51 public universities and 27 private universities.

It is worth noting that 21 Spanish universities were included in the list of the best universities in the world. 10 of which were ranked among the first 500 universities. The university ranks are based upon World University Ranking.

Autonomous University of Barcelona

The Autonomous University of Barcelona is at the top of the list of the Top Ten Universities in Spain. Ranked 163 internationally in the rankings of the best universities. The number of international students is 3421 students.

Earlier, in 2019, the Autonomous University of Barcelona obtained recognition as a Campus of International Excellence.

UAB Majors and specializations:

Following 105 bachelor’s degrees and 141 Master’s degree, UAB overall majors include Economics and Business Administration, Humanities and Art, Science, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Pompeu Fabra University

Ranked 175 internationally in the rankings of the best universities for 2016-2017 in the world. Additionally, Pompeu Fabra University has witnessed an increase of 44% of international students since 2018.

The Autonomous University of Madrid is fifth in the list of the best 10 Spanish universities. It comes between 351-400 internationally within the rankings of the best universities. We suggest you send a mail to  acogida.internacional (at) uam.es for inquiries in studying at UAM as the site information and updates are mostly in Spanish. Also, UAS has majors in English that are meant for technology and science.

At the present time, UAM has various specializations include Economics and Business Administration, Humanities and Art, Life Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences. Also, UAM has special Biotechnology masters’ majors which are taught in English and it involves around Health and Medicine and Supportive Medical Sciences. Polytechnic University of Catalonia

Complutense University ranks as the eighth in the list of the best 10 Spanish universities. Knows as the first University with a VIRTUAL Campus to ease the learning experience, face-to-face learning, and class learning is a part of the university continuous effort to make learning an easy activity. It also comes between 501-600 internationally within the rankings of the best universities for the years 2016-2017 in the world. The number of international students is 7,671 students.

UCM Majors and specializations:

University of Granada

Being at the top 3 of universities worldwide is not an easy thing. The 2018 edition of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) places the University of Granada in 278th position in the world and as the third-highest ranked university in Spain, With 124 departments, and 47,096 students as of 2020, University of Granada is one of the places to study in globally and in Spain.

UGR Majors and specializations:

Applications are now open for Granada’s master’s majors for 2010/21. Similarly, fields of study include Economics and Business Administration, Humanities and Art, Life Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Computer Science. Polytechnic University of Valencia

Dated to 1986, Polytechnic University is tenth in the list of the best 10 Spanish universities. UPV is first in the world among Spanish technological universities, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as Shanghai Ranking. Moreover, you can indeed study in English of 400 subjets at UPV.

At present, the UPV comprises 13 university centers. Meanwhile, it offers both Bachelor’s degrees and Bachelor’s degrees: double degrees a part of it’s circular. Similarly, overseas students prefer UPV although we can mention that UPV is likely to be not so easy for its academia in tech.

Lastly, UPV offers grants to study on campus.
