Postgraduate Studies in Czech Republic
The private institutions can be distributed into three groups: the Czech institutions that offer Czech programs; Czech institutions that offer foreign programs; and foreign accredited institutions that offer programs in many languages, including English.
The public Czech institutions offer other postgraduate studies programs, in addition to PhD studies, in foreign languages.
Academic Year in Czech
The academic year lasts for 12 months. The head of the higher education institution (university president) determines the start of the year. Moreover, the courses are divided into semesters or years. Unlike the Czech language, you can study in English after paying fees in both of public and private universities, as we have previously mentioned.
You can add the English language major to your last year of study, but you will have to submit all the required documents at least a year and half before admission. The best time to submit such a request is in January.
The costs of studying in English in the Czech Republic differ according to the chosen discipline. But the minimum cost reaches 1,500 Euros for the academic year, with a maximum of 8,150 Euros for the year.
