Studying at the University of Helsinki is divided into three departments:

Bachelor’s Degree

A bachelor’s degree takes at least three years. For international students who wish to pursue studies with this degree, all faculties in the University of Helsinki provide study in Finnish and Swedish and there is no bachelor’s degree in English.

For the Bachelor’s degree in Swedish, the University of Helsinki offers 80 different degrees, includes all faculties as well. As for studying in Finnish, the university offers more than seventy-degree programs at the university.

Master’s Degree

The master’s degree extends for 2 years at the University of Helsinki in Finland.

For studying in English, the university offers 61 different majors for Master’s degree in various faculties of the university, among which Masters of Computer Science, Physics, Geography and Chemistry in Faculty of Science, Master of International Economics in faculty of Law, Master of Politics in faculty of Social Sciences, Master of Medicine in Faculty of Medicine.

Besides, the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences offers 9 different majors included in the fields of energy, biology, and environment.

Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Education Sciences and faculty of Theology do not offer English majors. Besides, most available majors are taught in Finnish and Swedish.
